Aluminium Oxide Crystals are an inert material second only to diamond in its hardness. They are used for Microdermabrasion treatments as it is possible to produce an extremely fine crystal that is highly effective in abrading the stratum corneum, but present no danger of absorption by the skin and no risk of side effects. All Carlton crystals have the round shape like a ball and thus guarantee you a perfect crystal flow. They are washed in an acid solution before packing, in order to meet the highest standards of hygiene applicable. Crystals can be disposed of with no harm to the environment.
